Mauro Gomez, Director of Web Site Design & Development

Mauro Gomez comes to ContactDirect.Net with an award winning background in graphic design and website development. He received a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Graphic Communications with a minor in Art History from the University of Houston in 1998. Mauro began his Graphic Design career with [metal] Studio, a leading Houston based print design firm. Design became Mauro's passion, and lead him into the relatively young medium of web design and animation. He introduced Flash animations to a variety of [metal]'s clients and his designs brought him attention and acclaim. His work was featured in Print Magazine's 1998 Digital Design Annual. Mauro moved to Savatech, a leading web development company and ISP provider with a national client base and it was there that Mauro honed his web design and development skills. Mauros strengths are in web site evaluation, web design, HTML production, Flash animation, project management, and art direction. He heads his own freelance design group at www.d2m2.net and has established solid partnerships with Web Development & Design Firms, and other businesses looking to improve their web presence.

Kirk Thomas, Programmer & Product Program Development

Kirk is our resident "boy wonder". At 21, he is the youngest member of the CDN team, but his age belies a deep and comprehensive knowledge of server applications, programming, product development and the Internet. He is a trained electrical/instrument designer and received an Associates Degree, with Honors in Applied Science & Electronics Engineering Technology from ITT Technical Institute. He earned his way through school by doing programming, computer repair and web site design work on a freelance basis. He heads his own web hosting company, Carpet Rhino, and holds memberships in The National Vocational Technical Honors Society and the Clear Lake Chamber of Commerce. He serves as Technical Advisor and sits on the Board of Directors for the Gulf Coast Film & Video Festival.

Linda Flores Olson, Business Development Consultant

Linda Flores Olson is a native Houstonian. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Houston in 1990. She possesses vast experience in events, promotions and public relations. Throughout the course of her career with the University of Houston, first as Constituent Relations Specialist, then Director of Alumni Relations and through her current position as Manager of Member Services with the Greater Houston Partnership, Linda has amassed a Rolodex of contacts that rivals anyone in town! She is an accomplished dancer and sits on the board of City Dance, Inc. as well as the Hermann Lofts Condo Association and is a member of the Houston Downtown Historic District. She is also the Public Relations Chair for the Sam Houston Area Boy Scouts, "Exploring for Success" program. She and CDN Founder/President Danny Davila have worked together on many projects over the years. Linda is married to Michael Olson, a space station engineer with NASA and is currently working on her MBA.
